The $100,000 Razor

Zafirro.com offers a $100,000 razor. Seriously, $100,000 for the Zafirro Iridium, the “first razor with sapphire blades.”  The handle is iridium, which is “10 times more rare than platinum.”  Plus, it comes with a 10-year guarantee.  Please note, this is a limited edition of only 99, so you might not want to wait.
I won’t be purchasing the Zafirro Iridium Razor.  Now, that does not mean shaving is unimportant to me.  I might pay $100,000 for shaving.  Typically, I pay about $0.33 per month for those cheap, generic plastic razors. I’d consider $100,000 for 10 years’ of shaving as part of a package deal.  For example, forget the Iridium handle, give me the $0.33 blade, a used BarcaLounger, and a rotating harem of sensual women to handle the shaving duty.
Zafirro is a product of Bright Light Ventures, LLC.  Bright Light notes other products on its website, none of which are a bold as the Zafirro.  The Pinza promises to tame unruly cords for the price of $12 or $16 dollars. Luminous Pacific offers contact lenses for $9.99.  ProgressiveRX is an online seller of prescription drugs.  GreenPrint “offers powerful tools to tools to measure and reduce enterprise print cost.”  Progressive Health Worldwide accepts donations to fight tuberculosis in India.
Mr. Hayden Hamilton is behind all of these companies.  The Oregonian newspaper profiled him in January, which is the link below.
